Welcome to our special learning place, Room 5. Awhitu District School.
We are the AWESOME CLASS OF 2009.

We invite you to share our learning journey throughout the year. So tune in from time to time and see the fantastic things we can do.
Most of us have been learning at Awhitu School since we were five years old and now we are seven, eight and nine years old.

We started the year with 21 children. At the end of Term 1, Kalib left to go to Hamilton. Then in Term 2, Summer left to go to Tauranga and Branden came and joined our class.

Mrs Bremner is sort of new to our school too. Did you know that she taught here in 1985 and 1986?? Wow! She even taught Courtney's mum!!!
She is really happy to be teaching here again.
